pc-doctor-store.co.uk BANDIT, ROGUE, THEY WILL NOT SEND THE GOODS AND WILL SOON OPERATE UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME, BE CAREFUL OF THE INTERNET AND ONLINE STORES

Posted in 1, EXPOSE on October 5th, 2009

ok, not often I vent a lot of steam, so be warned the tags on this post are pretty offensive. But the subject matter here is regarding the recent experience of pc-doctore-store.co.uk. This appears to be a particularly dodgy website whereby you will never ever receive your ordered goods, nor will you receive any form of response to emails or get any positive outcome through livechat.

My partner recently ordered a part for his pc from this company, I had originally had a bad feeling about this site when he proposed saving a few quid using pc-doctore-store.co.uk and I had tried researching about the company at the time. It was odd, as there was no information online about them, which I found spurious from the get go.

Now, three weeks gone by and there has been no PC Component received in the post, nor is there a response from the email used to enquire where the said pc part is. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN should be pc-doctore-store.co.uk motto.

My other half was reeled in, easily, I must admit. There is no contact email address or contact telephone number. But the internet is a very dangerous place. I too, am well aware of this.

They have also operated under several company names, of which more can be found on Moneysupermarket.com, I have added the link below.

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1028969

I will do some more research on the owner of the company and look to name and shame them, as well as hindering their future attempts at scamming people out of their money.

Be warned, if you do order an item from pc-doctor-store.co.uk, you WILL NEVER RECEIVE THE ITEM. After research, I have found that there is one individual responsible for these rogue companies, that he sets up for a month or so, then all of a sudden they will disappear, along with a lot of people’s money who had thought they were making a legitimate purchase, only to find out the company is a fraud.

The company address details:

November 8th, 2009 at 9:16 am ei recently bought a monitor from them, after about 3 weeks of not receiving anything i sent them a message and they told me that they didnt have it in stock anymore but they will refund me the money. 30 days later i still havnt heard from them and now when i try to contact them they have no website anymore. Is there anyway i can get in contact with them and get my money back? or have i lost my money?

November 10th, 2009 at 4:34 pm eMy partner was more fortunate, so I am not sure if it depends on which bank you are with. He contacted his bank notifying them that there was fraudulant activity from this company on his account, they told him to fill in a form and he was refunded the full amount.

Another way to retrieve your money is to do a chargeback? most banks will deny that they exist. But you should be able to request this also.

I am glad you expressed your opinions as anyone who is thinking of buying from a website that has good offers and may well look very ligit, however they can fool you. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced this and that you have been unable to get your money back.

It is sad that this particular company is one that is run by villains as they tend to move on and create a new company name once they have made many people victims before they are found out. So even if you have not been ‘fooled’ yet, if you are reading this, please take caution when purchasing online and research the company well beforehand if it is not a well known reputable company brand.

  • Many Good Things

    Posted in 1 on June 24th, 2009

There are a lot of good things, despite there being publicised stories and realities of every day life being shown under grim circumstances. It’s sometimes easy to forget the good in people and the planet. There are many good reasons to smile and to not get bogged down by the grim that sometimes makes its way into our existence. There are many charities and many good causes. There are two charities that I stumbled across whilst searching for how to care for our recent purchases of miniature conifers for the balcony in our efforts to make the balcony a green environment within which we grow herbs including chives, basil and coriander as well as spring onions and other foliage. The two charities I came across:

    http://www.carbonmanagers.com/

A great site dedicated to assisting businesses and companies in offsetting thier carbon footprint. The main elements being that of businesses cutting down their emissions and planting trees in order to try and achieve a counteract effect. If you happen to read this, please approach your employer or if you are an owner of a business, please consider looking into the benefits of carbonmanagers.com both environmentally and financially. Money can be saved in cutting your carbon emissions as well having a positive effect on the environment.

The other site I came across was the http://www.woodlandtrustshop.com essentially a site where you can go and purchase a tree at £2.75 a month. It sounds like a lot of money for a tree per month, but this tree has its future insured and will be nurtured, will be looked after and with its branches kempt with grooming. I think that £2.75 a month to maintain the number of trees and in making an effort to counteract the effect of pollution and provide a future of fresher, cleaner air, then this is worth it.

    How It Is

    Posted in 1 on April 11th, 2009

Ha ha, I have had a night out and have had a good old end of week drink as you do. I work hard, or at least I like to think so, and want to let my hair down every now and then. I like to Know as it were and educate myself as well as others and am always intrigued by all things new, ideas, people and inventions. I am quite metamorphic, always wanting to know something about everything. Always have several projects on the go, try, try, try. Tonight I talked of days past when I used to believe that I would be sucessful in a profession in music and when I was younger had dreams of power, and money, but money only used in the sense to better this world, in terms of charitable organisations, innovations and a foreseeable future of success. Yes there are plenty of famous celebrities, stars and moguls alike that donate to charity and good causes. But I had always hoped that I could create change for all. Maybe a high and grand expectation, but I see so many wrongs, and hope for the tomorrow of the rights. This evening I found myself talking about my old myspace page which was used for marketing my music (to no great success but many positive comments). And how, there was an american army cadet who was no older than 19, added as a friend and had the opinion of he must fight, as that was what he believed was the answer. As I said to my colleague, in not so many words, the death of another is not the answer or responsible thing to do, no matter whether the person be of any nationality of on of the many of the other nationalities of the planet, for which some countries turn against each other in War. It is not necessary for these barbaric, prehistoric or out of date attitudes to exist any longer. Sadly (which is a word I use quite often). The one thing I regret, is not telling the whole of the story to my work mate as there was in fact more detail to the brief moment of the story that I had shared to my colleague that night (as after a few drinks my concentration wanes a little),  The young army cadets opinion who was yes a young man, not just a tool, was that of he wanted to kill, kill for his country in revenge of terrorists?. O.k. getting a bit serious here, but highlighting present day society to still be having as many issues as our ancestors preceeding us. Why is it that we still murder, kill and act towards those with differences to ourselves with such impaired judgement? It frustrates me that such enthusiasm for cruelty and bloodiness still exists in 2009. In reference to a serious note here, yes there have been terrorist attacks and bombers and many other unexplainable acts of insanity towards others, but we are supposedly modern man. Modern man still entertaining the inexplicable is no great achievement. There are those that occupy their time in ways that are orientated towards being paranoid of others, change and unity being an option that was not considered, with each sticking to their own and a certain stigmatism carried through generations. And those that adore the ideas. We talked of favourite films, and I mentioned how blade was the first film that ever gave me a natural buzz upon exiting the cinema after having seen it. Couldn’t really give an answer to my favourite film of 2009, nor for 2008, but had mentioned that one of my favourite films was stand by me, starring Corey Feldmen and River Phoenix and what a tragedy it was for the death of River Phoenix. I then asked kitty what my favourite film was and he of course responded with Pulp Fiction, being in my merry on the way to drunken state of affairs, I had of course forgotten this. Pulp fiction is an all time favourite of mine, often found myself watching this film when bored and really trying to understand every element, so much so, I have a book of the screenplay script, which I wish I was given the opportunity to have read it before ever seeing the film. I see the contrast of black and white, which some don’t understand, that being my own interpretation of that being highlighted in the film amongst other sociological issues. But it is a film that is svelt in its underlying issues of the unsaid adding to its magnificent canvas.  If only all its context were to remain in the film as art, rather than art immitating life or life immitating art?

No Wars, No enemies, No hate, Love those you don’t know a little, Love those you do know a lot and never forget to help when you can and maybe the same will be done for you one day. When it comes to war, its either kill or be killed, no killing thanks only happy people and more hugging!

    G20 SUMMIT PROTESTS

    Posted in 1 on April 11th, 2009

Well, having watched news coverage and having had a look at the photos as per The Guardian’s Website, the protesters were out in big numbers. The damage is yet to be assessed, meaning more money spent whilst not solving any real issues without any achievement. Violence was depicted within the press articles and news coverage. People had blood splatter on them or were injured with blood seeping from their wounds. I must admit I had thought prior to the day that the level of violence and destruction would have been worse.

The achievement is to come form the important persons of the 20 chosen selected few to handle concerns that we as people look to the government to resolve for us on our behalf. I have to admit that I am almost siding with the government leaders on this one. They after all are all gathered in a civil manner approaching the topics we all want resolved. I am not saying that protests should not take place, but should be more classier, more intelligent and with almost a sneaky approach of sheer cheek rather than the I will physically fight for my reasons. It makes me think that we as people really don’t care about others at all really. After all, war is a committed violence and what difference does it make if it is with your fists, weapons or arms that you fight. You are still fighting, it is bad enough that there are countries that are victims of the ugliness of humanity with war that kills innocent people as well as children who should have absolutely no part of involvement in these barbaric actions.

    .

Considering much of my website is based on change and things that lead to a hopeful bright future instead of the current demure existence, I almost gave it some thought as to whether it would be an event of protest that I would attend. It inevitably got messy and I am glad I was not there to have witnessed it, I believe that violence is never the answer and agressive mob behaviour may divide the muscle bearer from the weaker, but bloodshed is never a good sign of your aparently own good intentions. We are in 2009 and there is still an impulse to create havoc and act in an irresponsible and disrespectful manner. All the effort and the energy that went into smashing the Royal Bank of Scotland’s branch and the mass opinion of we stand together could be used in a much more effective capacity. If that many people were willing to change their habits drastically and maybe even consider using the two days to somehow better our London in any quirky fashion or style and protest with a more subtle but self satisfying justification. For example, why not hold a mass strike and do something constructive? why not gather people who are willing to donate time and or resources and look to spend time efficiently?. Why not help those around you in need of help for a day? this kind of  protest could be considered with the possible surprise of having an impact?. Who knows?, any suggestions welcome and thankfully the G20 Summit Protests were generally amicable and not too much violence was seen.
